EFR
The guard always high.
Wherever you are, for whoever you can.
Choosing an EFR course makes all the difference. It gives you the skills and confidence to step up and provide your support during an emergency.
Emergency First Response® (EFR®) prepares you to rescue anyone in distress, both in and out of the water. It is one of the largest CPR, AED and first aid organizations in the world, helping people, communities and businesses prepare for emergencies. These courses are aimed at everyone, divers and non-divers, organized in a wide range of specializations that allow you to prepare yourself to manage any type of situation.
A combination of theoretical knowledge and practical exercises that allow you to respond to emergencies of all kinds, identify the problem, save a life in immediate danger and manage injuries, wounds, less serious problems through first aid techniques. In this way, while waiting for help to arrive, your contribution becomes fundamental.
When you work or operate in an environment frequented by children, knowing how to take care of them even in emergencies is important. This course is dedicated to first aid for children, which differs from that for adults both in the techniques and treatments to be applied and in the emotional management of the situation and prepares you in the best possible way to face it.
Each specific maneuver makes its contribution in the interventions to save someone’s life. Using an AED, for example, increases the chances of surviving a cardiac arrest by 50%. This course focuses on training in CPR (cardio-pulmonary respiration) and the use of the AED (Automated External Defibrillator), essential techniques to help a person in danger of life.
Every 24 months it is good to review your knowledge of first aid. A course to stay up to date, put basic techniques into practice and review theoretical knowledge guarantees you the security of always being up to date and ready to intervene as a rescuer.
